funded institutions,  however  private collectors also have
an  interest in preserving online content.

Doran Golan, who was one of the early collectors of net.art,
starting quiet a few years ago, and who now has a

Doron Golan was born in Israel and has been living and
working in New
York. He has worked in digital video, computer animation and
media.
His work is concerned with linear cinematic expression in
the aesthetic
context of new media and digital publications and is engaged
in the reproduction-recreation of events. Golan studied fine
arts in Haifa University, Israel, The Frei Academy of
Den-Haag, Holland, and The Arts Student's League in NY.

He is a founder of computerfinearts.com, a netart collection
